What is Incumbent upon the New Muslim to Implement and to Abandon – Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan

What is Incumbent upon the New Muslim to Implement and to Abandon
Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan

The Government of Tawheed and Sunnah-The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful The Bestower of Mercy
Shaikh Ahmad Bin Umar Bin Saalim Baazmool (may Allaah preserve him) quoted Shaikh Saaleh Al-Luhaydaan (may Allaah preserve him) who said:
This country is the heart of Islaam and its sanctuary. It has been blessed with many affairs of peace and security whose match is not found in the world. There is no doubt that it is unrestrictedly the best of governments in this world.
And this neither means that it is (perfect) nor that anyone says that it is perfect, rather it has mistakes and we have mistakes; however it is the best of governments upon the face of the earth. And for that reason, it is incumbent upon every Muslim within and outside of it to supplicate for it to be upon firmness, strong upon truth and giving assistance to the oppressed.
And the reason (for its success) is that it has remained upon the Pure Creed of of Tawheed, and because it establishes the prescribed Islamic legislated laws when the conditions for its establishment are fulfilled.

The Keys to the Success

By Shaykh ul –Islaam Ibn Qayyim aj-Jawzeeyah as-Salafi -Rahimullaah-
Shamsuddeen Muhammad bin Abee Bakr Ibn Qayyim aj-Jawzeeyah (d.751) -Rahimullaah- said:
Bukhari mentions in his ‘Saheeh’ from Wahab bin Munnabih that it was said to him: ‘Is not‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’ the key to Paradise?’
He said: ‘Of course, however there is no key except that it has teeth, so if a key is brought which has teeth then it will be opened, otherwise it will not open.’
Ibn Qayyim continues:
Allaah Subhanahu has placed keys for everything that is necessary, and they open the way, so Allaah made purification the key for prayer, as the Messenger-sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- said:
‘The key to prayer is purification.’ [Saheeh al-Jamia as-Sagheer No.5885] .
Like wise
  • Ihram is the key to Hajj,
  • Truthfulness is the key to righteousness,
  • Tawheed is the key to Paradise,
  • Asking good questions and being attentive is the key to knowledge,
  • Patience is the key to victory and triumph,
  • Gratitude is the key to increase of provision,
  • Remembrance of Allaah is the key to having loyalty to Allaah and His love,
  • Taqwa (piety) is the key to success,
  • Fervent desire and dread of Allaah is the key to being successful,
  • Dua’ (Supplicating) is the key to being responded to,
  • Zuhd (Abstaining from the luxuries of the world) is the key to desiring the Hereafter,
  • Reflecting about that which Allaah calls His slaves to is the key to Eemaan (having faith),
  • Making the heart accept Islaam and making it secure for Allaah and having sincerity for Him by having love and hate and fulfilling His commands and leaving the prohibitions is the key to going in front of Allaah,
  • Pondering upon the Qur’aan, and imploring Allaah before dawn and not sinning is the key to giving the heart life,
  • Being kind to the worshippers of the Creator and striving to benefit His worshippers is the key to obtaining mercy,
  • Striving to seek forgiveness from Allaah and Taqwa (piety) is the key to Rizq (provisions),
  • Obedience to Allaah and His Messenger is the key to honour,
  • Longing for the Hereafter is the key to being prepared for the Hereafter,
  • Fervent desire for Allaah and the Hereafter is the key to all goodness,
  • Love for the world, continuously longing for it and turning away from the Hereafter is the key to all evil.
This is a great matter from the most beneficial chapters of knowledge, namely knowing the keys to goodness and evil.’

Then YES, I am a Wahhâbî – Sheikh al-Fawzân

Question:
Why are all of those who call towards Tawhîd called as “Wahhâbiyyah” ever since Shaykh Muhammad bin ‘Abdil-Wahhâb (rahimahullâh)? This word scares off many people from those who call towards Tawhîd.
Shaykh al-Fawzân:
No, it doesn’t scare off at all. We are proud of the fact that the one who calls towards Tawhîd is called as “Wahhâbî” and all praise is due to Allâh. What is the one who calls towards Shirk (idolatry, polytheism) called then? What is he called? Jâhilî!
We are proud of it. Let them then say “Wahhâbî”. They are thusly themselves witnessing that the call of Wahhâbiyyah is a call towards Tawhîd. The author of “al-Lanjah” (rahimahullâh) said:
“If the one who follows Ahmad is a Wahhâbî, then let the humans and Jinns witness that I am a Wahhâbî.”
Ahmad here is the messenger (sallâ Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam);
“If the one who follows Ahmad is a Wahhâbî, then let the humans and Jinns witness that I am a Wahhâbî.”

Refutation of Tariq Ramadan

We find in the words of Tariq Ramadan thoughts that reflect the beliefs of Kufr (disbelief) and Shirk (polytheism) of the heretic Sufis. The belief in "Wahdatul Wujood" (unity of existence, meaning that everything is Allaah and Allaah is everything) is a form of pantheism and "al-Hulul" (believing that Allaah is in certain creatures), which are heretic beliefs taught by most of the Sufiyyah Turuq in the world today. One should not be surprised to see Tariq showing and expressing these heretic beliefs since the grandfather of Tariq,Hassan al-Banna, was a Sufi of the al-Hisaafiyyah ash-Shaadhiliyyah tariqah that expressed these same beliefs, aswell as Sayyid Qutb who expresses clearly these heretic beliefs in his book "Fi Dhilaal al-Qur'aan" in many places and in particular in his commentary on Surah al-Ikhlaas, aswell as other key figures from Ikhwaan al-Muslimuun (had the same beliefs).
--
Tariq Ramadan blames the Salafis for being responsible for terrorism! And free and far removed are the scholars and the followers of Salafiyyah from condoning terrorism and the corrupt ideology of the Khawaarij.
It should also suffice us as a confirmation of his misguidance that Tariq Ramadan cooperates with organizations that aggrandize the likes of Hasan al-Banna (who is Tariq Ramadan's grandfather) and Sayyid Qutb, the revivers of the Khawaarij ideology in the modern era.
Furthemore, Tariq Ramadan has called to leaving off aspects of the Islamic Sharee'ah (such as his infamous call for a "moratorium" on the punishment for adultery legislated by Allaah, subhaanahu wa ta 'alaa) and abandoning the scholars of the religion. To him, an ideal practice of Islam involves combining Islamic values with the conjecture and doubts of Western philosophers, and he has studied the works of such disbelieving philosophers extensively. In this regard, TIME Magazine "honored" Tariq Ramadan as being one of the most important "innovators" of the 21st century
On 7th July 2006, our brother Abu Khadeejah gave a khutbah in the salafi masjid in Birmingham and mentioned the individual called Tariq Ramadan. You can listen to the khutbah here,
As this individual may not be as well known in the English speaking world as he is in the French speaking world, there is not a lot of material concerning him in English. However, there are some articles in french concerning him and more importantly the words of Shaykh Raajihi on Tariq Ramadan on this site:

Are Refutations Good & Are They Needed? – Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan

Imâm al-Albânî about the knowledge of Hasan al-Bannâ

Shaykh al-Albânî:
The Qur’ân and Sunnah are a few words, but they comprise one’s entire life. This example is hereby mentioned:
“All say that they have love for Laylâ, but Laylâ admits none of it.”
[Proverb]
Hasan al-Bannâ was first of all not a learned man. He was occupied with Da’wah. He saved the Muslim youth when he made them leave cafes and cinemas and the like. There are no doubts about it. Where are al-Hasan al-Bannâ’s books that indicate his knowledge? His father, ‘Abdur-Rahmân, has a couple of books that indicate his knowledge. As for his son Hasan, he only has a couple of small booklets. These small booklets constitute a methodology for his call and (they) do not indicate that he was knowledgeable at all. The one who says that he follows the Qur’ân and Sunnah according to the understanding of Hasan al-Bannâ has turned a blind eye and has submitted to the desires of Hizbiyyah.

A Woman Paying Her Zakat To Her Husband – Shaykh Muqbil

Shaykh Muqbil ibn Haadee Al-Waadi'ee (raheemahuallaah)
Translated by Raha ibn Donald Batts
Question:
A Woman owns gold which reaches the minimum required amount for Zakat; is it permissible for her to pay her Zakat to her (Muslim) sisters or to her husband, bearing in mind that she does not own anything except this gold?
Answer:
Yes, it is permissible for her to pay her Zakat to her sisters in they are poor. Poorness is neediness; meaning that one does not have that which suffices him. It is also permissible for her to pay her Zakat to her husband if he is poor; as the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said to Zanayb the wife of ‘Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood when she said: “Is it permissible for me to give Zakah of my gold to him (my husband).” He said: “Yes.”

Question:
What do you consider of the sect Habashiyyah that are followers of ’Abdullâh al-Hararî al-Habashî? What is their doctrine?
Shaykh al-Fawzân:
Their doctrine is grave-worship and associating partners with Allah (Shirk billâh‘azza wa jall). He is a grave-worshiper, and refuge is sought with Allâh, and a Sûfî. al-Lajnah ad-Dâ’imah did a clarification in which they refute this deviant sect and clarify its methodology.
There is a doctor’s dissertation, in two volumes, about the Ahbâsh-sect and its methodology. A Syrian brother by the name ‘Abdur-Rahmân Dimashqiyyah [Dimashqiah] has likewise written a book about the Ahbâsh-sect. Greater and smaller books have thusly been written about them.
In conclusion, they are a Sûfî-sect that engages in Shirk and grave-worship.
